Welcome to Transform.pics. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Transform.pics website and image conversion services (collectively, the "Service") operated by PugWorks ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Transform.pics, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Transform.pics provides online image conversion services that allow you to:

• Convert images between various formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, etc.)
• Resize images to custom dimensions
• Adjust image quality and compression
• Perform batch conversions
• Create PDFs from images
• Vectorize raster images

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly update any information that becomes inaccurate
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

• Upload, convert, or distribute illegal content
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

5. Your Content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.

License Grant

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Process and convert your images as requested
• Temporarily store your images to complete the conversion
• Deliver converted images back to you

This license terminates when your images are deleted from our systems.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your content complies with all applicable laws

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
• Experience downtime due to technical issues
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time

We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

7. Usage Limits

Free and paid accounts may have different usage limits, including:

• Maximum file size per upload
• Number of conversions per day/month
• Batch conversion limits
• Storage duration for converted files

Current limits are displayed in your account dashboard. We may adjust limits at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Payment and Subscriptions

If you purchase a paid subscription:

• Prices are displayed in your local currency where available
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the period ends
• Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user content), is owned by PugWorks and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy or reproduce the Service
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on the Service

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for:

• The content or practices of third-party services
• Any damages arising from third-party services

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY

• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUGWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PugWorks and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the Service

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Abusive or illegal behavior
• Extended inactivity
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending an email for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
